PURPOSE: TO PROVIDE A BASELINE OF CURRENT INFORMATION PROVISION TO PEOPLE DIAGNOSED WITH DEMENTIA
This baseline information provision project will describe the current information provision to people with dementia and their carers by a number of professionals: GPs, CPNs, Social Workers and Psychiatrists.The aim is to repeat this exercise in the future following the publication of information provision guidelines and the implementation of ICPs for dementia to monitor the impact of these pieces of work (published by NHS QIS and Alzheimer Scotland).
